Living out our mission through service
Local Community Partnerships
Family Promise of Anoka County
In partnership with over a dozen local churches, we host homeless families at Lord of Life by providing temporary shelter, meals, and a day center where families can seek stable employment and housing. We also raise funds to support this critical ministry.
Youth First Community of Promise
We offer gym space, meals, and financial support to at-risk youth and their families, creating a safe and supportive environment for them to grow and thrive.
Adopt-a-Family / Stepping Stone
Each Christmas season, our youth and adults come together to bless families and individuals in need by donating gifts, gift cards, household supplies, and heartfelt prayers—sharing the true spirit of Christmas.
$1 Clothing Sale
Once a year, we collect clothing and host a community sale where anyone can fill a grocery bag with clothes for just $1. All proceeds go directly to the ACBC Food Shelf.
ACBC Food Drive
We support the ACBC year-round by collecting food, financial donations, and personal care items to help those facing food insecurity.
Prayer Quilts
Our prayer quilt ministry creates and donates hundreds of handmade quilts, each one prayed over and sent to someone in need of comfort and care.
Blood Drives
We partner with the American Red Cross to host blood drives 2–4 times per year, providing an essential gift of life to those in crisis.
Ruby's Pantry
On the 4th Friday of each month, our congregation sponsors a Ruby’s Pantry food distribution pop-up, helping families stretch their food budgets while reducing food waste. Volunteers sort and distribute food bundles—both perishable and non-perishable—with a warm smile and servant hearts.
